18 of us came for dinner on Saturday evening. Our servers, Reggie and Fernanda were excellent!!! Thanks for singing to the birthday "boy"!! The food was delicious, it couldn't have been a more perfect evening. Also, thanks to the manager, Gabrielle, for being so kind and accommodating by getting our large group seated. Thanks again, and we will definitely be back!!!
Good came out fast. I ordered the wet burrito with Al pastor and carnitas. It was very filling and tasty. Anytime you're in the area this is a must go.
I will always recommend La Parrilla especially if you're down to try new things. I have had so many different things from the menu. I always recommend charro beans over the others and guacamole. The La Parrilla dip is always good. The steak is ALWAYS good & juicy, no matter the dish. Our server was very polite & was great serving us. They had $7 Herradura shots & we definitely enjoyed them. The Fresco Margarita is always a great drink, recommend that over everything. My guacamole bowl was new & I could tell, but it was still good. The vibe is always chill in there. -Chile Poblano with brisket 9/10 | definitely had heat, but the cheese & brisket brought it all together -La Parrilla Dip 10/10 | comes with tortillas & always good -Guacamole 10/10 | everything fresh & made in front of you; the jalapeño is what makes this TOP TIER Additional Recommendations: -bowls: replace with mexican rice & charro beans -Con Todo (Burrito): want to try something different, try this, it'll be your new go to -Chimichanga: definitely as good as it reads
Best mexican food in Macon. I moved away a while back, but when I lived there I was a regular. Great food and great service. I definitely miss this place.
Wow... amazing food and awesome service. The meal started off great with light crispy chips and a tangy delicious salsa. I wanted to keep it light so I got shrimp soup. Wonderful flavor was very hearty because it had rice , nice size shrimp and a side of avocado. I got a side of refried beans which was also really good and a great texture. But I was so full I could only eat half of them. I did however find room in my stomach to eat my share of the best tasting sopapilla with chocolate drizzle. Great meal in a fun setting.
La Parrilla in Macon is my favorite Mexican restaurant in this area. The food is always excellent, and the menu has interesting dishes as well as the usual Mexican fare as far as tacos and burritos. I enjoy the full bar also. There is often a wait because this place is so popular, but it's worth waiting for.
Yum!! My hunny brought me here 'cause I was craving some Mexican food and man this hit the spot! We were able to sit at a table outside, which I loved! Our server (jack) was fast and attentive. He helped me decide which flavor margarita to get and man oh man!! That passion fruit marg was DEEEEELICIOUS!! It had real passion fruit flavor, not the pink or purple additive type of stuff. I give this place 5 stars for the marg alone! Chips and salsa are free here too, which is rare in ATL. The chips are perfectly thin and crispy. The chicken tinga was well seasoned in the burrito too. Parking was plentiful as this location is in an outdoor mall type of place. I would definitely return if and when I'm in the area again.
A surprising win! This place seems to be always packed and now we know why! Great staff and the food comes out hot fresh and fast! Super yummy! I had the pork enchiladas, usually rice at Mexican restaurants are dry but this rice was prefect! And the seasoning of the pork! Spot on! My fiancé liked the burrito. It could have had more cheese We'll be back!
At this point I truly believe you that I am on a mission to visit every location of this restaurant in Georgia perhaps. This restaurant never ever disappoints. Even though you know it's a franchise you going to get the same food, the same quality, and just about the same service at every single location. Consistency is top notch here. Our server Miranda was a beautiful person. She was so personable and so informational. It was just a pleasure to be around her almost like she was one of the family. No lie. We ordered what we always order. Texas fajitas, guava and blackberry margaritas, and the la parrilla dip which comes with steak and shrimp. I ate so much dip and salsa that when it came time for my food, I was nearly full. That's always a plus to have another meal later. What can I say that hasn't already been said. This may not be on everyone's palette however I've never had a bad meal here. And even though I was 70 mi away from home, it felt like I had never left Atlanta.
